In a powerful display of unity and support, community members and advocates gathered in downtown Dallas on Sunday, February 2, 2024, to stand alongside the Mexican community in a day of walking, feeding, and peaceful protest. The event, which drew dozens of participants, highlighted the struggles and concerns faced by immigrant families while fostering meaningful dialogue between community members and local authorities.
The day began with a march through the heart of downtown Dallas, where participants carried signs advocating for immigrant rights, unity, and justice.
